Speakers

Aruna Ladva

Aruna’s first encounter with spiritual truths and experience of meditation was at the age of 8. Her deep personal experiences led her to realize her purpose by the time she was 14. For over 37 years Aruna has been practicing meditation and has become an accomplished spiritual author.

Aruna is fortunate to have the blend of two cultures – the East and West! She was born in Kenya, educated in England, worked in Canada, and has lived in various other parts of the world and travels regularly to India.

The gift of a contemplative mind and her deep search for truth has enabled Aruna to focus on her personal soul-journey. Aruna’s writing was inspired by the teachings of the Brahma Kumaris (www.brahmakumaris.org), where she studied the gentle art of Raja Yoga Meditation. She is one of their experienced and dedicated teachers helping to promote this yogic art. Aruna also facilitates retreats and trainings, manages various self-development projects and publishes insightful content to her blog - https://www.itstimetomeditate.org

Ash Patel

Ash Patel is a practitioner of Raja Yoga meditation and its teachings having experienced profound self realisations through his journey.  It has helped him to apply its practical teachings across all  aspects of his life and to deal with challenges by learning about the self and the power of the mind. One of his interests lies in working with young leaders to develop inner leadership principles in a practical and meaningful way and he has facilitated classes, workshops and retreats over the last 15 years both within the UK and internationally.
