Speakers

Ash Patel

Ash Patel is a practitioner of Raja Yoga meditation and its teachings having experienced profound self realisations through his journey.  It has helped him to apply its practical teachings across all  aspects of his life and to deal with challenges by learning about the self and the power of the mind. One of his interests lies in working with young leaders to develop inner leadership principles in a practical and meaningful way and he has facilitated classes, workshops and retreats over the last 15 years both within the UK and internationally.

Leza Scott-Riddell

 Leza Scott-Riddell has been a teacher for over 30 years. She now teaches Raja Yoga Meditation and personal development as well as coordinating spiritual groups for women. She enjoys turning spiritual concepts into daily practices that create a life of joy

Waltraud Idir

Val Idir practices Raja Yoga Meditation for 18 years. She is passionate about self-empowerment and community cohesion. Her professional background is in developing inclusive international projects in training, education and self-leadership as a consultant. Her experience is in working with people aged 18 and 35 in various settings.

What is embodied living? Embodied living means to realize, express, manifest, encapsulate your deepest, truest self. Realizing your purpose, expressing your being, manifesting your desires, and encapsulating your essence are all aspects of living an embodied life. Join us for a new series to explore principles that can be applied to realise your truest self.

This event is open to individuals that have a regular practice of meditation and have completed at least one course at a Brahma Kumaris centre.

Art of Living is an online, facilitated dialogue series aimed at deepening our understanding of our own qualities and wisdom through group dialogue. The aim is to explore how we can live by these qualities meaningfully for ourselves and to practically apply them to change our circumstances.

Each week we will take up one particular theme to explore. Our facilitators will read relevant extracts presenting ideas and solutions for the theme from popular resources based on Raja Yoga teachings that will be discussed by everyone in a group.
