Roma Latchman is a Fulbright alumna with professional training in both Clinical and Counseling Psychology. She is currently reading for her PhD, with a focus on Children, Adolescent and Youth.
Roma is a student of the Brahma Kumaris Trinidad and Tobago for the past fifteen (15) years. Roma teaches Raj Yoga meditation classes at the various Raj Yoga centers across Trinidad and Tobago. She teaches meditation at the University level, blending her knowledge of spirituality and psychology as an approach to safeguarding healthy and holistic development of youth in her country.
Roma brings a value-based approach to her personal and professional life, teaching and supporting the integration of spiritual values as a way of life. At an organization level, Roma serves to increase spiritual education and research within the Brahma Kumaris Trinidad and Tobago. Meditation is a core part of daily life, work and wellness for Roma. On her journey of spiritual awakening and self-exploration, and from her capacity as both a psychologist and meditation practitioner, Roma has created a therapeutic space where she and those she works with, feel empowered to live mentally healthy, authentic and spiritually fulfilling lives.
