Sigrun Stefansdottir is originally from Iceland, where she has spent most of her life. She came across the Brahma Kumaris in 2008 and became a regular student two years later.
In August 2017 Sigrun moved to the UK in London and was based at Global Cooperation House, The National Co-ordinating Office for the Brahma Kumaris. In September 2025 she moved to Worthing and is currently a resident at The Lighthouse Retreat Centre.
She is a mother of three grown-up children and a grandmother; she has experienced how practicing Raja Yoga meditation has brought many positive changes in her life.
